Terms and Conditions

BOOKING PROCEDURE
Bookings can be made via the booking forms which can be downloaded from the website www.biznessacademie.com and returned by post at the address below, by email at booking@biznessacademie.com or fax +32 (0)2 706 58 70. To provisionally reserve a place on a course call us on +32 (0)2 888 22 00. All bookings must be confirmed in writing by email or fax.Once a booking has been confirmed, an invoice will be sent to you and you are requested to pay the invoice upon receipt. Upon receipt of your payment, a written confirmation will be sent to you together with the joining instructions and the pre-course material.

CANCELLATION FEES
The following scale of charges will apply :
11+ working days in advance of the course No charge (0%)
6-10 working days in advance of the course Half course fee (50%)
0-5 working days in advance of the course Full course fee (100%)

DELEGATE SUBSTITUTIONS
The substitution of a named delegate by another from the same company can be made at any time up to the start of the course provided the course co-ordinator is advised in advance. There is no charge for delegate substitutions.

TRANSFER DATE OF COURSE
The transfer of a delegate to another date of the course can be arranged after discussion with the course co-ordinator. This may lead to a handling fee.

NON ATTENDANCE
Refunds, either in full or in part, will not be considered for delegates who, for any reason, do not attend the course.

LATE ARRIVALS
Delegates arriving more than 15 minutes late will only be allowed to join the course at the trainer’s discretion.

COURSE SPECIFICATIONS
An outline of each confirmed course will be made available. You should ensure that the course level selected is appropriate to both your needs and your ability and clients should ensure that their delegates check that the course level selected is appropriate to both their needs and their ability. Bizness Academie accepts no responsibility for incorrectly placed delegates.

COURSE PARTICIPANTS
In the interest of other delegates, Bizness Academie reserves the right to remove a delegate from a course if, in the opinion of the trainer and/or a senior member of Bizness Academie staff, the delegate is unable, through lack of the appropriate ability or experience, to keep up with the course.

COURSE TIMES
Courses start at 9.00 am and finish at approximately 6.00 pm. There are 10 minutes breaks for refreshments, at appropriate times, during both the morning and the afternoon. Lunchtime is between 12.30 pm and 1.30 pm. Bizness Academie can be flexible with timings during in-house company courses. If you would like to discuss appropriate timing for your company please call our training co-ordinator.

CANCELLATION OF COURSES
Bizness Academie will make every effort to run all courses once reservation have been accepted. In the event of any courses having to be postponed or cancelled by Bizness Academie, clients will be offered an alternative course date. If no alternative date can be offered, clients will be entitled to a full refund of course fees paid.

WARRANTIES AND DISCLAIMERS
The information provided on an Bizness Academie training course may be out of date or include omissions, inaccuracies or other errors. Except where expressly provided otherwise in an agreement between you and Bizness Academie, all information provided directly or indirectly through a Bizness Academie training course is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. Bizness Academie hereby disclaims all warranties with respect to this information, whether express or implied, including the implied warranties of merchantability, satisfactory quality and fitness for a particular purpose. In no event shall Bizness Academie be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or damages for loss of profits, revenue, data or use, incurred by you or any third party, whether in contract, tort or otherwise, arising from your access to, use of, or reliance upon information obtained from or through a Bizness Academie training course. Bizness Academie reserves the right to make changes, updates or corrections to the information contained in its training courses at any time without notice.
Travel, accommodation and expenses for attendees are the sole responsibility of each delegate.

LIABILITY FOR PROPERTY
Bizness Academie does not accept responsibility or liability in respect of loss or damage to any property brought to the premises of Bizness Academie or any other premises used by Bizness Academie for a course. The delegate or delegate’s company should arrange appropriate insurance.

LIABILITY FOR ACCIDENTS AND DAMAGE
A delegate and sponsor shall indemnify Bizness Academie for negligent or criminal damage to premises, or property brought to the premises of Bizness Academie or any other premises used by Bizness Academie for a course. Bizness Academie does not accept liability for damage caused as a result of the negligent acts or omissions of Bizness Academie, its trainers or staff save for its statutory liability for death or personal injury.

COPYRIGHT
It is acknowledged that all intellectual property rights, including copyright, patents, design rights and know-how in or relating to the course or course materials provided or made available in connection with the course remain the sole property of their owners and no copies may be made of course materials unless expressly agreed in writing by them.

JOINING INSTRUCTIONS
For open courses joining instructions and venue details will be sent by email or post to the delegates or the client’s training manager upon confirmation of a booking. For late bookings, joining instructions will be issued on receipt of confirmation, directly to the delegates wherever possible. 
Details of enrolment, directions and special requirement forms (diet, disabled access, etc.) will be sent out with booking details.

PAYMENT
Please note that payment must be received in full before your training session.
Payment can be made by :
Bank transfer into our bank account as indicated on our invoice. 
Cheque made payable to Bizness Academie (ONLY available in France to be discussed and agreed in advance).
 Credit cards – to make a credit card payment please use PayPal.

FEES
Open course fees are to be paid at the time of booking. These fees include refreshments, certificate of attendance, examination, manuals, course binder, pre-course material and 30 days post training support via e-mail.

LAW
These terms and conditions are governed by Belgian law. In the event of any dispute with the interpretation, execution or performance of any of the provisions of the terms and conditions and should Bizness Academie and the client fail to come to an amicable agreement, the dispute shall be referred to the Belgian Commercial Courts (of Brussels) who shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
